DDD 3.3.11 (i486-pc-linux-gnu) gets `BadWindow' error

Hello,

I experience the following error with DDD: I stop my C program, enter
a virtual array psi[0]*100 in the value line and press the plot
button. I get a window stating 'Starting gnuplot...' which stays
there forever. I then press 'Cancel' and get this message in stderr:
