Details:
Installed DDD for Cygwin last night. When using the Execution Window feature.
The executing program receives additional arguments which I am pretty sure are
not supposed to be there.
Chiefly the redirection arguments to the Window's TTY are sent to the program
via argc/argv. And they appear before the arguments supplied by "set args".
I am newish to debugging for Nix targets. But I ran some tests from outside
DDD and even when supplying such args they did not appear inside the program.
Which is to say the shell filtered them out properly.
PS: This bug tracker needs to be more prominent on the
http://www.gnu.org/software/ddd/ webpage. It's easy to get the idea that the
DDD mailing list is the only way to submit bugs. If that's how bugs are going
to be raised in the 21st century I think most people would not bother, and
opensource will languish. Web software efforts are a little bit better. OS
projects need to modernize ASAP.
