[Bug-ddrescue] confusion

Hi

I am new  to linux and Gnu ddrescue. My quistion may be simple or a valid.

i tried to download latest ddrescue ( i thought 1.13 version) and
installed, previously i was installed gddrescue 1.2.
When i verified version dd_rescue -V  it shows 1.13   ,  and ddrescue
-V shows 1.2 by Antonio Diaz. Now for me its clear that i am looking
for ddrescue  not dd_rescue.

My doubt is Antonio Diaz written about version 1.13  in this below
page help needed.
