Hi Bake, tank you for your replay, I really appreciate it!
I did
/usr/local/bin/ddrescue -r 0 -R -n /dev/sdb /mnt/tmp/temp/imagefile
/mnt/tmp/temp/image.logfile
Press Ctrl-C to interrupt
Initial status (read from logfile)
rescued: 0 B, errsize: 9223 PB, errors: 1
Current status
rescued: 0 B, errsize: 9223 PB, current rate: 0 B/s
ipos: 0 B, errors: 1, average rate: 0 B/s
opos: 0 B, time from last successful read: 1 s
Finished
--------------------------------
and also:
/usr/local/bin/ddrescue -r 0 -n /dev/sdb /mnt/tmp/temp/imagefile
/mnt/tmp/temp/image.logfile
Press Ctrl-C to interrupt
Initial status (read from logfile)
rescued: 0 B, errsize: 0 B, errors: 1
Current status
rescued: 0 B, errsize: 0 B, current rate: 0 B/s
ipos: 0 B, errors: 1, average rate: 0 B/s
opos: 0 B, time from last successful read: 1 s
Finished
------------------------------------------------
so no success there.

I'll put it in a freezer for tonight, let's see...

If tomorrow ddrescue don't read it, and I don't find an other potential
solution, I'll have to consider one or more of these suggestions =(
Thanks again! and if you have an other idea, let me know!
Notes:
1. I use ddrescue 1.15
2. The disk is seen during boot, but its capacity is not detected.
3. This disk is one of two identical disk SAS connected. I tried connecting
it to the other SAS port. Same result. The second disk is OK, but all the
important data was (is) in the dead one.
