Hello Al,

I hope that includes the info manual that comes with ddrescue or its
online version
http://www.gnu.org/software/ddrescue/manual/ddrescue_manual.html
As it turns out, the tasks of data recovery seem like they
will be relatively simple compared to what I was expecting I
would have to do.
Well, the basic operation of ddrescue is fully automatic. :-)
In order to help new and present users to more quickly learn
enough to feel at ease with this program, I have a few
suggestions.
A few? I guess implementing them all would convert ddrescue in a
killer-app... for windows. ;-)
Seriously speaking, they are too many, most too vaguely described, and
some requiring a lot of work (script, GUI) for me to comment on them
all. It would help a lot if you could make more concrete proposals for
the few you consider most important so that we can start working from there.
Best regards,
Antonio.
