[Bug-ddrescue] Can ddrescue use "ddrescue output" as input? |

Hi,
I realise that this is a strange question, but can ddrescue use
"ddrescue output" as input? I'll try to explain what I mean.
I have 3 dvds which were identical "burns" of a single iso file.
Unfortunately, all 3 dvds are now exhibiting read errors. I've read
all 3 of the "broken" dvds with ddrescue, so I now have the following
files:
isoDvdImage1
logfile1
isoDvdImage2
logfile2
isoDvdImage3
logfile3
I'd like to use ddrescue again to see if I can "combine" these images
into 1 image with no errors (i.e. if every byte from the original iso
file is readable from at least one of the iso images). I am already
aware that I might be able to just recreate the original iso file by
swapping out my 3 disks, but given that I have these 3 disks as
"ddrescue-format" images, can I re-use these images to re-constitute
the original iso file?
I guess that this is quite similar to what the ddrescue manual calls
"Automatic merging of backups", but instead of now having "two or more
damaged copies of a file, cdrom, etc", I have "two or more sets of
output files from ddrescue".
I hope that this makes sense! Thank you in advance for any advice or
help you can offer.
With kind regards, Jaime
