Hi Antonio,
Congratulation for the relicencing and for noticing the licence
incompatibility before it hinders other free software developments! We are
far from the FSF's behaviour which has led to the LibreDWG fiasco.

In brief, FSF has included support of DWG AutoCAD proprietary format in
their high priority projects. They have developped a library since 2008.
Unfortunately the library is GPLv3+ so no free CAD software can actually
use it. Expecially LibreCAD and FreeCAD are tied to GPLv2-only code for
most of their code or GPLv3-incompatible libraries. Contacted in early
2012, FSF has refused to relicence LibreDWG so developpers have left the
project. LibreCAD has eventually started a GPLv2+ library from scratch in
2013.
Cheers,
Adrien
