[Bug-ddrescue] How to workaround too-small-drive anomaly?

I've just run into a new one for me.

I have my binary image files, and brand new 1TB drives to be loaded with data.
(Drives: WD10EZEX)

SmartCtl sees 1TB
Windows sees 1TB ... well, 931.51GB

But ddrescue sees 13GB??!!

Any ideas?
