Well, maybe, I've forgotten how to fix this.
I saw a string in the 'configure' script file:
use_non_posix=
I tried to set it to 'Y' and get 'use_non_posix=Y' - but got an error while
configuring
Is it possible to modify the 'configure' file to always compile with device
names shown?
Well, the previous version 1.22-pre3 or 1.22-pre4 I compiled manually shows the
names perfectly. But I've forgotten how I compiled it :)
Should it be such a command as './configure --enable-non-posix' ?
P.S. I have completed a Russian translation of some parts of the manual for
version 1.22-pre3(1=Introduction, 2=Basic concepts, 3=Using ddrescue safely,
4=Algorithm, 5=Invoking ddrescue, 8=Copying CD-ROMs and DVDs, 9=A small
tutorial with examples, 15=Reporting bugs). I'll finish the whole translation
soon :). Then I will modify it to include the newest changes.
I want to help making Russian translation. I think, I should also translate the
homepage of the program. And ask here, if anything else is needed too.
