So, thus, my question is: is there a way to make drive to see that scratched CD inside when I put it, and then use ddrescue to restore even 1% of data from it?
I don't know, but have you tried dvdisaster? http://www.gnu.org/software/ddrescue/manual/ddrescue_manual.html#Optical-mediaIn some cases, a specialized tool like dvdisaster may be a better option than ddrescue for recovering data from CD-ROMs because dvdisaster can read and analyze raw CD sectors, which ddrescue can't.
Best regards, Antonio.
