Morning all,I had a strong feeling that the manual-manipulation system would be required, thank you for the detailing Scott :)
I'll make a double clone of the data recovered here and try the manual merge, but I'll also be quite interested to see Antonio's --shift option too. For now the drive is still reading ( even without the partition table being read, thankfully still accessible! ), so I'll let it run until I'm ready to migrate data across to the client's new drive.
