Hello Francesco, Francesco Turco wrote:
I noticed a minor spelling issue with ddrescue-1.26 in multiple places (README, man page, info page, main.cc). Basically, there are instances of "hard disc" instead of "hard disk". As far as I know, the term "disc" is used with optical discs only, while "disk" is used for hard disks (or floppy disks). What do you think?
I think that English suffers from too many spelling issues. :-)So in this case I chose "disc" (Latin "discus", Spanish "disco") which my dictionary says is equivalent to "disk".
For zgrep I chose "color" (Latin and Spanish "color") instead of "colour". Etc. Best regards, Antonio.
