Subject: [bug-fdisk] Is this a Fdisk bug? Fdisk -l stop reading out the full device list upon a bad disk fault (unknown partition table)

Hello Team:

 

I’m curious to know if this is a fdisk bug? The fdisk –l read upto /dev/sdg and generate the following message below when it reaches /dev/sdh

 

Unable to read /dev/sdh 

 

Any devices beyond sdh is not listed but the command “#cat /proc/partitions” list them as shown below:
