cp/rm bugs

Hi.  I'm rather new to this linux thing, so please forgive me if I get some 
of the terminology wrong.  I noticed that rm and cp don't seem to work if 
there are too many files.  (I'm trying to move about 35000 of them at a 
time.)  I get the error:

bash: /bin/cp: argument list too long

Anyway, the man page said to email you with bugs so here it is.  :)
