Hi.
Using stunnel is probably the easiest way to go. I
would not recommend trying to write a TLS handshake
(or ciphers) in awk. If you can find appropriate TLS
libraries, you might could write an extension to use them. See
https://www.gnu.org/software/gawk/manual/gawk.html#Dynamic-Extensions
in the manual for details on writing extensions.
