How to get gdb to run continuously

I have run a script and I dont want gdb to manually press enter all
the time

---Type <return> to continue, or q <return> to quit---


due to this , teh script is asking me to press thousands of enters,
whenevr it stops
can this be done with

the script is something like the following

while (1)
cont
display a->b
end
