Thanks for quick testing. On those environments the included libxml2 is
used and I overlooked that it doesn't have XPath support.
Unfortunately, it seems not sufficient to edit
gettext-tools/gnulib-lib/libxml/xmlversion.in.h. I'll try to work out a
way of enabling XPath with the included libxml2 (perhaps it might need
an update of it to a newer release).
