Follow-up Comment #3, bug #64136 (project gettext):
For reference, the commands to extract the strings from the spc.* files:
xgettext -o - -k_ -c spc.c
xgettext -o - -c spc.lisp
xgettext -o - -c spc.java
xgettext -o - -c spc.sh
xgettext -o - -c spc.py
