Details:

gforth 0.7.3 fails to build on Ubuntu 20.04 unless gdb is installed. I've
attached the final lines of the output of 'make'. The 'configure' script ran
without complaint.

The build is running on a fresh Ubuntu 20.04 instance, having run 'apt-get
upgrade' and 'apt-get dist-upgrade', and having installed the
'build-essential' and 'm4' packages.

When I ran 'apt-get install gdb' and started over, the issue went away.
'configure', 'make', and 'make install' ran without issue, and a quick
interactive test of gforth and gforth-fast ran fine.

Also, less seriously, the 'configure' script fails to detect when m4 (which is
required for the build) is not installed.
