[bug #62214] Building from source on Debian auto-installs outdated version

Follow-up Comment #7, bug #62214 (project gforth):

Also, I'm seemingly not able to build the tarball version.  When I follow the
instructions calling "make" produces this "make: *** [Makefile:1193:
engine/prim.i] Error 1" error.  Should I make this a separate bug, or does
someone know where I went wrong?
