Follow-up Comment #1:
This is not a bug, but a feature. Our (relatively recent) constant folder
evaluates "1 cells" at compile time to 8. I dimly remember that the
documentation recommends discusses the pre-optimization behaviour. If so, the
documentation has to be updated.
