Ignore .hg and .pc in the default config

Hi,

I think it would make sense to have the default configuration ignore 
hidden directories created by mercurial (.hg) and quilt (.pc).

Maybe it would be good to ignore hidden files and dirs in general? But 
that would require a bit more patching I guess. :)
