Hello all,
I would like to remove the following features of htags(1).
The purpose is reducing the maintenance costs. Although
these are seldom used, the maintenance cost is high.
Especially, they are difficult to explain the usage, and
are obstacle for making static CGI scripts.
o The --system-cgi option.
o The -c (--compact) option.
o The --overwrite-key option.
If the --system-cgi is removed, this is not needed.
o The -x (--xhtml[=version]) option.
From now on, Each header has '<!DOCTYPE html ... XHTML 1.0 ...>'
o Configuration variable 'script_alias'.
If the --system-cgi is removed, this is not needed.
o Configuration variable 'normal_suffix'.
From now on, this is hard coded as '.html'.
o Configuration variable 'gzipped_suffix'.
If the -c option is removed, this is not needed.
I think these are not important any longer.
Any comment?
