It is hard to tell. Probably emacs is older than global I use on my phone an old and unsupported version of emacs which is emacs23. With emacs-23 it works. I have tested also with current version 27.1. Works. I have also tested with master version from 202007. Works. On gccemacs I have Got: "Remote host is not specified." Emacs just gives support to the last two versions: On this case. It would be emacs 27 and 26. Which version of emacs Do You have on your distro? Best Regards
