gmp-3.1.1 make error on MacOS X |

Hi,
Half a year ago I compiled gmp-3.1.1 successfully on Yellow Dog Linux
1.2 on my iMac, but now I can't do the same on MacOS X. When I run
"./configure" all seems ok, but "make" gives errors; I include the
output in make.log, and I add config.log and config.m4.
I give some information concerning my system environment and the
installation procedure, and I hope you can help me.
My processor is a Motorola PPC750 (G3) PowerPC, and I have MacOS X build
4K78. The output of "uname -a" is:
Darwin localhost 1.3 Darwin Kernel Version 1.3: Thu Mar 1 06:56:40 PST
2001; root:xnu/xnu-123.5.obj~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc
and ./config.guess agrees:
powerpc-apple-darwin1.3
the version of my compiler ("cc -v"):
Reading specs from /usr/libexec/gcc/darwin/ppc/2.95.2/specs
Apple Computer, Inc. version gcc-926, based on gcc version 2.95.2
19991024 (release)
If I forgot any useful information, I will happily give it anyway.
Thanks for considering my report.
