You can't reasonably guess what this or that user considers "clean" vs noisy. I'm not suggesting that Emacs needs a way for users to control this. I'm suggesting that IF you start to worry about this, and are tempted to change whether this or that gets logged in *Messages* THEN please don't do that but instead provide a way for _users_ to control it somehow.
