URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?18497> Summary: VALUE LABELS command deficiencies Project: PSPP Submitted by: blp Submitted on: Saturday 12/09/06 at 11:05 Category: Syntax Parser Severity: 5 - Average Status: None Assigned to: blp Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: None Effort: 0.00 _______________________________________________________ Details: For numeric variables, it should be possible to specify a value by putting a formatted value in quotes (especially useful for date formats). This should be done by generalizing parse_number from range-parser.c to handle any variable type. SPSS 15 translates \n in strings into new-lines. I don't know yet whether this happens at assignment or at use (what appears in .sav files?) _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?18497> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
