Follow-up Comment #2, bug #21801 (project pspp):
SPSS disallows using custom currency formats as input formats, and so PSPP
has never allowed it either. The underlying reason is, presumably, that
custom currency formats are, at best, difficult to parse and, at worst,
ambiguous.
