Update of bug #23138 (project pspp): Status: None => Confirmed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #4: Well it used to work. But it seems that recent versions of yelp are totally broken. For one thing they appear to no longer be able to open info files unless they are compressed. The attached patch works around that problem. The second problem is that yelp crashes with about 40% probability, particularly when opening info files. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/yelp/+bug/218537 You can work around that problem by setting the environment variable G_SLICE=always-malloc So until yelp is fixed, it looks as if opening the reference manual is going to be problematic. These problems should be reported to the gnome developers at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?product=Yelp (file #15636) _______________________________________________________ Additional Item Attachment: File name: yelp.patch Size:2 KB _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?23138> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
