Follow-up Comment #1, bug #24726 (project pspp):

see http://jeff.ecchi.ca/public/pspp%20scrolling.ogv for a video demo of the
problem. It doesn't lag as much as it does in reality, but oh well, that's a
limitation of screencasts.
