PSPP-BUG: Saving in windows

After opening an existing .sav file and modifying it, when hitting the
save button, or trying to "save as" the file that is created is not
readable by pspp. instead this error message pops up when trying to
open the file:

"runtime error! This application has requested the runtime to
terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's
support team for more information"

I'm guessing this is a bug of some sort.
