Follow-up Comment #15, bug #29965 (project pspp):
The fix solves the issue of the tmpfile. The strtod problem still exists but
seems to be a gnulib problem. The configure switch is a workaround for this.
So this issue can be closed.
The gnulib patch doesn't work.
