I'm going to mentally group this with a couple of other items
that I've been thinking about for a while:
* Accept a syntax file name on the command line (and
bring them up in syntax windows).
* Accept multiple file names on the command line (and
open them appropriately).
* Add a GUI for preferences (e.g. what the SET command
sets).
