PSPP-BUG: SPSS19 error message after reading an PSPP-Dataset (psppire.exe 0.7.6-g26ff6f) and newer

Hi, very often, we receive an error message, if we read an PSPP Dataset with SPSS18 or SPSS19:

(An unknown error has terminated communication with the processor…)

After it, SPSS stops and we have to cancel the process by Strg+Alt+Del.

Or, in other words: Reading and modifying of UTF-8 data sets in PSPP destroys the data format, so that we can´t read it in SPSS 19 (or 18) thereafter.

Surprisingly it is possible, to “repair” the dataset by loading und saving it in SPSS 11.
