Hi again Ben,
    Thanks for the quick response.  Attached are the contents from make 
> make.log when I simply ran it again this morning.  I'm not too 
familiar with using make, are there reasons why I shouldn't simply run 
make again after the first attempt failed?  Should I have rerun 
configure first?
