What I am trying to say is: What would happen if the output is in html and
the output viewer is in fact a dedicated simple html browser. That might
solve the copy/paset issues around the output and maybe some other issues.
I have been working on a similar idea as an experiment. In my experimental
design, when psppire starts, it automatically launches an instance of
Libreoffice
(or OpenOffice) if there is not already one running. Then, all pspp output goes
directly to a Libreoffice window , and can be saved as Libreoffice format. I
will soon publish a demonstration - to see what people think of the idea.
However,
I think before it can become useable it will need a bit of work by someone who
knows the Openoffice API.
I am willing to test but have really no idea what to test. Also I don have
the skills to debug PSPP. If somebody out there has the skills to provide
a patch I am willing to build a test version and see what happens.
Sorry, I have lost the context here. What was the problem?
