The offending commit seems to be 14f4522a17db23e67a6fa17876633cc6260cb42b
Short term, I think the solution is to revert the change to
src/ui/gui/psppire-dialog-action-logistic.c
which I think is the only one that is problematic.
Longer term, I think it is clear that we need some unit tests.
