I find the easiest way is with the SELECT command.
Just run the syntax snippet SELECT IF (Geschlect = 1). Depending on what you
need to do next, you may want to preceed this by TEMPORARY.
Alternatively, you can create a dichotomous variable and use the FILTER command
on that variable.
