PSPP-BUG: Saving data after working on variables

Hello
I'm experiencing a problem in saving data, both in the latest version than in 
the previous ones. 
I can't change attributes to variables, i.e. changing string into numeric or 
nominal into scale, because everytime I try to do it the PSPP crashes and the 
changes are not saved. 
Can you please check for it? I'm working on Windows 7 64-bit
