Follow-up Comment #1, bug #45213 (project pspp):
Both issues are definitely related.
I updated to a newer version of Pixman (0.32) and now the program doesn't
abort anymore.
But I couldn't find the point where the segfault was triggerd, so I don't know
for sure if the problem is gone for ever.
