the latest release is 0.8.5. There is a pspp 0.8.5-4 package in debian. See

There is also a ppa for pspp on ubuntu from Adam Zammit here:

The 0.8.5-4 is also in ubuntu wily

    I'm currently using 0.9.7 (installed via apt-get onto Ubuntu running xfce (So I guess it's really Xbuntu, but it started life as Ubuntu and calls it's self that)) which is as up-to-date as Ubuntu's repo is (I think). If their is a later version let me know and i'll be happy to compile it and try it out.
