Follow-up Comment #1, bug #47141 (project pspp):
1. This syntax does not do what you probably expect.
The first line should read:
DATA LIST LIST /A * B (A4).
Note the parentheses.
2. I could not reproduce a crash (either with or without parens)
3. 03a7b9 is a bit old. Perhaps you could try a more recent build.
