Does this error sound familiar?
A user who launches psppire from the terminal, which crashes when
"trying to load a data file".
If I'm unable to replicate their crash tonight, I'll ask them for
minimal steps to reproduce. At the very worst I'll guide them in
building psppire with debug symbols.
Anything else you'd like asked? I suspect in the end I'll be giving an
unceremonious "works for me" and send them to the pspp lists.
Obviously the exact version of PSPP would be usefull to know.
It would also be good if he/she could try a few other simple experiments which
do not
involve loading data files. For example to enter some data manually and
perform a
simple descriptives procedure to see if that works.
