It looks as if the problems  with the data import are solved. However there where different reports and I only checked 2 cases. 

MSWindows users who reported import problems can test the current master version from sourceforge https://sourceforge.net/projects/pspp4windows/files/2018-07-07-ForTestingOnly/

Would be nice to see reports.
