Follow-up Comment #1:
The best way to find out what how an output was produced is to examine the
journal file.
There is no distinct mapping between output files and data files, because:
* The data may not have come from a file - it could have been input manually
or generated from INPUT or another means.
* The dataset may have been duplicated and then possibly mutated.
* Datasets can be combined so the output can be a merge, combination or
concatenation of two or more data files.
