Follow-up Comment #1:
I can't see how this can be fixed in PSPP by itself. It would require work in
Texinfo, to add semantic markup to @example and other environments so that
they could be marked as being in particular languages. I do not think it is
practical to do this in PSPP. It does seem like a good idea to bring this up
on the texinfo mailing list, and I would encourage anyone who thinks this is
an important issue to do so.
