Follow-up Comment #3, bug #59421 (project pspp):

I tried again this time with the 1.4.0 tarball.    I tried this both in the C
locale and the el_GR.UTF-8 locale, but I still cannot reproduce this problem.

Can you try this using the current git master?   If the problem is still
present there, please run it under gdb and send us a stack trace.  Then we
have a chance of fixing the problem.
