For historical reasons,  in the GUI, EXAMINE is labelled "Explore".

     I am not sure if my concern is right. But the command EXAMINE is in the 
manuals.  My current version does not present EXAMINE as part of the ANALYSE 
options nor it is part of the sub-options of other descriptive statistics 
commands. However, following the format in the manuals, I am able to run 
EXAMINE in the syntax environment.
     
     Is examine really excluded in the ANALYZE options?
