Follow-up Comment #4, bug #64196 (project pspp):

I can build on MacOS Monterey 12.6.6 on my Macbook. The homebrew nightly also
works:

So this seems strange. Maybe related to the backend? Homebrew uses the native
interface instead of the XServer.
