[Bug-gnu-radius] Feature request/Rodopi problem with gnu-radius |

The ISP I currently work for was using the old Livingston radius up until
recently, when we switched to gnu-radius for security reasons. The problem
we have encountered is that with the old radius server the detail files had
"quotes" around the User-Name and Acct-Session-Id attribute values and
gnu-radius doesn't. This is a small problem since we are using the Rodopi
billing system which parses the detail files every night to generate online
usage information and it seems that without the quotes on these attributes
it is not parsing the files correctly.
Has anybody else encountered this problem or have a solution? I tried to
write a patch to radlib/utils.c that would do this but my C is very rusty
and although it compiled fine radiusd dumped core whenever I tried to start
it up. I was trying to add an if-else near the end of the format_pair(pair)
function which seemed to me to be where the patch is required.
Any advice would be appreciated.
